I’m feeling depressed today and probably should talk to someone. I really don’t want to bother her on Sunday. Maybe I can hang in there until tomorrow. I have a group therapy, and maybe she could see me then.
Would you like the list of crisis lines? They can help interrupt depressive episodes and such. But you shouldn’t feel guilty for calling your therapist, as she gets paid to help you.
Well I’m not suicidal, just moderately depressed today. I’m going to give it an hour, then maybe call her if I don’t feel better. I have the emergency number for my pdoc too.
The crisis lines are there for more than suicide. I text sometimes just because I am having trouble sleeping.
Well go ahead and post them.
If you are feeling suicidal or having a mental health crisis, please tell someone — a friend or family member, a teacher, a doctor or therapist or call 911 (if you’re in the U.S.) or the Emergency Medical Services phone number in your country.
You can also call a crisis intervention hotline—these are available in the U.S. and in many other countries. You do not need to be actively suicidal to benefit from a crisis hotline.

I texted my therapist, and she called me. I just got off the phone with her.
Sometimes we need our therapist/person.
Well she bills Medicare for the phone calls. My psychiatric care provider waives me paying the 20% copay though. They only take original Medicare and Medicaid, so I can’t join an Advantage plan because my psychiatric care is the lion’s share of my health care money. Most Advantage plans charge a $40 copay for psychiatric care. I have several group therapies a week along with one one-on-one therapy session a week.
I felt better after taking to my therapist, but I’m starting to feel down again. I think I’ll try to see the pdoc tomorrow.
I find that Crisis lines generally do not like to be bothered with sleeping issues at all. They just tell you to take a hot bath and immediately get off the phone. They are very predictable.
I don’t call Crisis lines anymore. Haven’t in years.
