Donnie Darko is told that the world will end in something days. By his hallucination.
The time portal brings him back in time maybe that’s a hallucination too.
And is it that by dying in that plane crash he changes fate and doesn’t need to be end of world in something days.
Idk how that would be.

I guess so. But I don’t understand the thing about why does he have to stay in his bed and die from the plane. In order to save the world. Confusing to me. Like even if it’s all a hallucination. How does that make sense.
But then again hallucinations don’t always make sense

It’s a fictional story and DD wasn’t nuts, he was trapped in a tangent universe and affected by it. It’s not SZ no matter how you look at it.
Amazing how people with our illness latch onto the film without understanding it.
