Does you TV talk to you?

Do you hear voices? Do you get paranoia?

I hear voices. I’m often paranoid. I get messages through the screen all the time so I avoid watching things for the most part

I usually hear people in the background talking to me, and often I perceive people in the foreground slyly interacting with me.

I’ve got no voices, paranoia or delusions from my tv set.

I’m the same way I can hear the background of TV shows talking about me and it’s like people on TV are commenting on the things I’m doing.

Before meds I’m better now.

yes i could pull my hair out hearing it.

once trashed a condo the first time i heard it.

still watch though.

When I first got sick I thought o j Simpson was me on tv while he was in jail; I thought the tv was mocking me. I thought special colors on the tv had significant meaning. I thought women on tv were women off my Instagram dressed in prosthetics fighting and talking about me. I thought the commercials were giving me secret messages. I started writing messages on paper and showing them to the tv to get a response. Sure enough, the tv gave me messages that satisfied me. I had the same with the radio. I rarely get anything through the tv anymore. I did recently get messages sent to me through the radio at the dentist, but I have more good days than bad days thanks to the meds. Good things.

Same here. I always hear low whispers or people talking.

When I was younger I had the same issues with the tv set as most of you but the last 10 years I watch tv maybe 10 hours a day without any issues.

Not feeling good honestly. I called my case worker and no one seems concerned. No one cares that Im not taking the medication. It kind of upsets me, its like everyone is mad when I dont want to take the stupid meds and then when I stop taking them they are suddenly no longer concerned. the walls are caving in on me.

Before I got on some good meds, I used to think the TV and radio was talking to me. I used the think the people on TV and radio knew me personally.

I feel “attacked “ by some tv presenters of tv people or news presenters and some actors.

They give off hostile vibes and attack me with yuck vibes trying to suppress me and thinking they are superior to me and just being stuck up and agressive and disgusting.

I stopped watching sunrise where specially one woman was hostile at me and they were stuck up and yuck to me but thankfully I found channel nine morning news and they are lovely to me.

So many actors I can’t watch anymore.
So can’t watch all movies or series or actors or tv people.

Yes, and yes. I hear and see things that others don’t. I once saw something on the TV screen that wasn’t there. They didn’t have the heart to tell me they weren’t seeing the same thing. I knew from their body language though.

Question should also be, “Do I talk to my TV?” :smirk:
Yes. When I visit my dad, I can talk into his remote, and it will find what I ask it for. Technology freaks me out sometimes.

The newscasters talk to me, lol, jk.
