sounds like clozapine is giving you lots of trouble.
what other meds have you tried? I take it probably a lot, because clozapine isnt handed out like candy in the US…but it is in europe.

For anxiety i have tried the following
lexapro - causes sexual dysfunction and paranoia, maybe weight gain
prozac - weight gain and sexual dysfunction
fluvoxamine - too sedating, increases clozapine blood levels
propranolol la - reduces heartbeat if its fast and reduces tremors, not sure about anxiety
sertraline - made me psychotic, crying episodes
vilazodone - fast heartbeat, weird feeling around heart/chest area, feeling like crying
For psychosis i have tried
Aripiprazole - not able to tolerate dosage above 10mg, extreme lethargy from 15mg and above which does not go away. Did not work for psychosis at 10mg, Modafinil did not fix abilify’s tiredness.
paliperidone - sexual dysfunction
Flupentixol - still feeling paranoid
Blonanserin - sexual dysfunction
That is quite the list. I see why they would put you on clozapine. What symptoms bother you most these days?
lol my list is much longer than that.
Right now im bothered by paranoia, anxiety and weight gain. And once paranoia is gone, then maybe we can focus on my cognitive impairment.
For cognitive impairment, i have tried the following
Atomoxetine 50mg → better memory recall, developed increased anxiety/tremors - took for 5 months
Desvenlafaxine 100mg → No benefit in attention/working memory, also sexual dysfunction - took for 2 weeks
Methylphenidate 20-30mg → Worsening paranoia, crying episodes, aggression - Took for 1 month
Modafinil 100mg -> Took for 2 years for alertness then started to worsen paranoia
Similarly, I am on atomextine and it doesn’t cause anxiety, but I am also on benzos too. I’m sorry I didn’t read the whole thread carefully, but why not just go on a low dose of benzodiazapines. Klonopin is quite safe because it has a long half-life.
