Does sport really helped you with SZ?

And if sport helped you,
After how much time your symptoms lessen?
And how it helped you?
Ofc I know, that sport makes you feel happier and better, but I am still a bit skeptic on how much it would help.

I don’t play sports but I go for walks sometimes and it helps to be able to think about different things and talk to people.

The only sport I do is archery, but it helps some as it gives me something positive to focus on.

Yea it helps me. It gets the blood flowing. I think a lot of us are melancholics. With melancholic (depressed) type people, we tend to use our brains a lot. And so I think getting out of your head and focusing on your body enough is really important. Your body can consume something like 50% of your energy expenditure of your body. Your brain needs a break. Exercise gives your brain a break.

You need to have any insomnia issues handled before you try sports or the exertion without rest will tear your body up.

I don’t understand what you want to see.

lol, i got it, nothing, ozymandias, learning is living

I feel much better since i do some workouts about every second day. I was happy with the sport room in hospital, it were every day mine, since seven years i do so, it’s helpful when i have big things to do like woodwork or digging the garden or ride a huge distance with the bike.

I can’t do much in the way of sports, but walking outside and working with a dog or photographing things as I walk was just so nice, and I genuinely miss it. I think it made me healthier mentally, but eventually, my paranoia made it uncomfortable to be in a situation where cars or people passed me or came near me. So I think that, yes, it propbably would help me in some ways but in others make things worse.

Sport helps me with my mood and negative symptoms. There is plenty of research on the link between exercise and mental health.

Also your body grows stronger so you can handle more.
