I believe in the power of positive thinking; it honestly does work to some degree.
you do not get there with only fantasizing and positive thinking. There must be acted !!!

Yes so you have to first work by changing your thinking and support it all the time to make change happen it’s a life long process
Deciding to be happy is a big step. Allowing yourself to be happy. To feel that you, deep down inside deserve to be happy is a self knowledge most people never acquire.
One day you might be happy, and you check yourself, thinking why am I so?
Why can’t I be happy, I asked myself? When I couldn’t think of a reason for smling and stopping myself consciously from being so. Then I realised that deciding to be happy was a conscious choice. I am much happier these days.

You know when a tractor ploughs the ground, it creates ruts. Lines of dirt with steep sides. Getting stuck in a rut represents the feeling you get when do things over and over, without being able to get out.
I’ve been depressed a lot lately, I think my meds are pooping out on me
Mmmmmhhhmm I would like my life changed by practicing what I read in that book … it’s written so cool I had read it 20 times but still it requires effort and work and when I try to change what I think it heppens like with smoking I try I try to think good thoughts and then bam I give up and don’t resist to start thinking negative thoughts
yeah i believe you can have a better life with positive thoughts If you look for the good points of view in things, change what you can, accept what you can’t, you can feel more content.
That’s sad I hope you feel better soon try to engage in positive activity like playing a video game reading a book playing table tennis swimming , thinking about your life how you can improve it
Action speaks louder than words. I am reading a book called ‘The body keeps the score’ about trauma and how to cope and deal with it. It is a great book and some of the solutions recommend weird things to connect the body to the brain and thus rewire it.
It recommends dancing, martial arts, drumming, massage, mindfulness and EMDR (google it) for serious trauma all in a bid to connect your whole body to yourself and feel it. It also notes how community and loved ones being very important.
Athough these remedies are for trauma, I would still recommend them for sz, as many people have hidden trauma anyway, and in my opinion people with trauma have sz caused by it.
Anyway give them a go, and perhaps the depression will lift. At least give it a go, and then remember that you are allowed to be happy after all.
If nothing else, by training yourself to see the world in a positive light, you’ll feel like life is going better because you are no longer focused on the bad
Sometimes when I’m sad I make a list of all the things I’m grateful for. Things like having working arms and legs and eyes and all the cool stuff that I have like my computer or my phone and the people I have in my life. I also like to find things in the future to look forward too like new movies or video games coming out or events or even plans to go to the park. I feel like I’m a little off topic from the op but I’m going to post this anyways =)
