Does eating healthy food actually stop the food cravings

I forgot to say that drinking coffee all day keeps my appetite down. I drink it weak so I don’t get jittery or sleepless.

this is the result im afraid of. ive only ever gained that much on clozapine. but i was a lot younger last time i took risperidone and more active. right now i am a normal weight but i want to keep it that way because i know how quick it can happen. and everyday will just be a fail and before i know it i will have gained 30 pounds.

Legumes, nuts and egg whites with wholegrain bread stops most of the hunger pangs for me

is the hunger in ur stomach or ur mind? mine is cravings. for some reason my stomach almost never gets hungry

No idea what that means…if you get cravings you are hungry

Also I gained 50kg on Risperidone(I believe that’s not even the final form as I was still gaining weight), lost 20 kg on abilify ,gained 20 on brexpiprazole and now trying to lose the 20

haha no one ever understand this when i explain it. i wonder if everyones brains are connected to their stomach and their cravings make their stomach hungry. idk but for me they are separte.

I think somewhat but if you’re craving sugar maybe it’s better to have fruit? When your body is unhealthy you’re gonna crave unhealthy foods to make you feel better

For one if you have constant low blood sugar your body will crave sugar because it wants it raised. When my blood sugar is low I crave sugar until it normalizes.

You need to see your doctor and a registered dietician to find a good diet for you.

Just because your blood sugar is low, you will gain weight by eating too much saturated fat. That is probably why you are gaining weight. Eating fast food and ice cream all day is not just full of sugar but also bad fats.

Lean proteins will help with hunger and healthy fats are better as well.

Again you need to see a doctor regarding a diet that fits for you. And not do an extreme diet without guidance. You also have anxiety and heart issues, right? You need supervision as extreme diets put serious stress on the heart.
