Does anyone in psychosis smell different?

It sort of smells like fresh ground coffee doesn’t it?

Weed? It smells like skunk. There is even a strain of weed called skunk weed.

What I am saying is when its smoked. We have lots of skunks here and often I have a hard time differentiating the smell of weed from the smell of skunks.

I totally get that. Real skunk smell seems to linger longer…

I am not against weed, its legal here, I tried it a few times but stopped as it made me psychotic. It didn’t make my friends psychotic.

I once had smell hallucination

Yeah it’s legal here too… I use it for my volition. And just a motivation to get out of bed. I feel it but I don’t get high.

Some are pot heads saying they got the munchies like teenagers.

Some people just judge, but they are not used to populations who just smoke punctually in their lives. Thinking I’m just having fun. Cannabis is not an escape route. Some use it to get back to reality.

Yeah for sure it’s expensive, but I can get out of my negative symptoms coma.

But it doesn’t work every time though.

But anyways, yeah I’ve had olfactory hallucinations…

I smelled soups and stuff

I was more sensitive to smell too unless it was hallucinations. Seemed real to me

Not always, the smell varies significantly depending on the strain. Some strains smell like disgusting diesel, but ive also had some strains that just have a light lemony smell. The skunky strains are just the most well known smell because of how distinctive it is. I personally like it, i think it doesnt smell anything like real skunk.

The air smells burnt when I’m becoming psychotic or forget to take my meds. It’s one of the first things I notice as an indication.

As a dual diagnosis, I am mostly immune to smelly things, other than farts.
