Pace the floor? I do and it’s helping surprisingly. Then again…
I used to. Not much anymore.
All the time
Abilify checking in
I’ll sometimes pace @roxanna
I’ll walk around and around the house especially when I’m feeling agitated mood wise like when I’m feeling mixed.
I pace around all the time. Even if I’m just waiting at the bus stop I’ll walk in little circles
I find it eases my anxiety a little bit.
No I’ve never done that.
I don’t need to now that I take benztropine. My fingers have stopped moving strangely too
When I was experiencing akathisia I was pacing all over the house, up and down the stairs, but barely got any relief, it was brutal.
I pace when I’m having a Bipolar mixed state. The agitation has to go into something that isn’t harmful. Pacing is a great way to get rid of excess emotional energy. It doesn’t hurt anyone.
Yep. I been looking for my benztropine. Haven’t found it yet. Arrrgh.
yea i pace a lot around the house.
This is going to sound funny, but I’ve started jogging around the house.
I do my exercises every day, and go for a nice walk, but I’ve been doing five laps of the house jogging. It’s been years since I ran, but I can handle a little bit at a time. I will build it up over time
I’ve never paced but I shake my legs and feet all the time
I get told to quit shaking so I just pace. I finally got my benztropine today.
No. I’ve always needed a rocking chair.
I go out to my balcony and smoke pretty often.
I know I did a lot of walking in the Ward.
I used to do that constantly. They gave me invega by shot once and it made me pace so bad, some of the patients started threatening me if I didn’t sit still, but honest to god I could not stop. It was like having a horrible itch and walking is the only way to scratch it.
These days we’ve reduced my AP dose so that I can sit still. I still rock back and forth when I stand up sometimes, and I still pace while I smoke cigarettes.
I pace when I drink something like tea. I just walk while drinking tea.
