Does anyone have advice

Quite relaxed now but can’t get rid of anxiety I try exercise positive thoughts but it’s a vicious circle as I’m always scared when I’m going to suffer paranoid symptoms
Any one have any ideas to get rid of this dumb anxiety

Maybe you could go out to eat. Take in a movie. Read a book. Try to think of something to distract you from your anxiety.

Yes that’s what I’ll do

Definitely avoid caffeine. Tends to make anxiety worse. Remember to breathe also.

I don’t know what will work for you, but I can tell you for me personally - CBT or positive thinking, meditation, deep breathing exercises do not work - what works for me is taking an extra dose of Klonopin, especially for panic attacks.
I empathize with your situation, I do hope you at least address the anxiety by talking it over with your doctor - he/she may be able to help you

That’s what’s hitting me a bit as well… can’t get rid of this sinking feeling that something hugely wrong is going to happen.

Usually a bath or a swim helps me calm down… a bit of meditation and laying out the parts of my life… work… school… family… and just looking at the fact that it’s all OK. That will usually help me calm down…

Today it’s not working very well for me… some unnamed impending doom is looming… very illogical.

Sometimes I think I’ve beaten it and then it comes back

There are non addictive meds that might be able to help you - Gabapentin (Neurontin), SSRI’s or Buspar are just a few - you may not need to take a benzo
