Does anyone else get hit hard by changing seasons?

The nice weather makes me manic, which then sets me up for massive anxieties and mood swings. I haven’t slept in over a week except for naps here and there, and I haven’t been able to have sex either. Who else is having a really rough time right now? Do you associate it with the seasons, or is it unrelated?

I think that my symptoms flare up more during the Winter - I am at my happiest during Spring and Summer.
But the reality of it is, I can get symptomatic any time during the year

Had just associated it to the full moon the other day tbh. My worst months are late May through to early November. Which is around winter here. But our winter temperatures hover around 12°C.around 53ºF so don’t see it as a season thing.

I like when spring and summer is coming after the dark period of winter, I feel more energetic and happy.

Yes, the seasonal effects on mental illnesses are tied to the lunar cycles. The reason why they are more intense at certain times of the year is most likely due to the eclipses that occur at those times; the gravitational pull is greater. New moons tend to be worse for me. Pull up a lunar chart online and you may be surprised at when you look back over the months how it lines up with the worst symptom days - it’s why I picked my username ‘wolfman’.

Where are you from @Dreamscape?
Europe?

I bitterly hate winters I’ve decided after this last winter. yes, summer days are hot and long and there are bugs. but at least the winter is gone. damn winter. got me really moody there for a while during this last winter bombardment.
