Do you wear a medical ID bracelet?

I am ordering a new Medical ID bracelet because my old one has an old emergency contact on it and I want to get a new one with my mom’s info on there. What do you think I should put on the bracelet? I am thinking my name, conditions, allergies, “epipen and inhaler in bag” then my moms contact. I am wondering whether or not to include sza in my conditions or not

Necklace with a tag.

That is where I got it from. Affordable and no monthly fee. The one time I had a problem requiring an ambulance ride the med tech found it helpful and easy to use.

I got my last one form Americanmedical-ID.com Because they had the most engravable space. I also have a MyID electronic medical ID but I prefer the engraved ones

I have a Disabled Card since around 13 years, in German and in English. Does someone have the interest in showing me how it looks like?

This is the one I currently have and am probably going to order again with new info

That looks nice, even this saying may be offensive. Sorry, i gotta edit my post again, just seeing the aesthetics of the bracelet

I would stick with the conditions that can cause you to need immediate lifesaving. If the lists are too long, it will be harder for someone to get to the essential stuff.

If you know your blood type, that is also a good thing to include.

I’m registered as a organ donor if something happens to me. But that’s online.

i dont wear one. wouldnt want one. i dont wanna have “schizophrenia” on my body at all times like some kind of tag/label. if i ever did need someone to contact an emergancty contact i can set my phone to have an emergency contact number (i havent tho) or they hospital can look at my id and figure it out. i really cant think of anything they are super useful for except dementia or a severe mental disability where the person might get lost and have no way of communicating who they are.

I dont at the mo, but when I start Clozapine I probably will. O the joys of London, if anything were to happen to me in public, people are more likely to film me on their phones rather than dial 999…

I’m probably not going to put my sza diagnosis on there but I pass out often due to POTS so I need necessary information on there for the EMTs

Just put “has epipen” they will find it. I would leave contact info online only. This way you don’t have to buy a new bracelet if it changes, as just happened to you.
