Do you want to see the world?

That is wonderful. Bravo.

I’ve loved living abroad. I especially enjoyed living in Singapore and Geneva. Now, I just stay close to home. The furthest I’ve been since psychosis is Cabo Verde (a 7 hour flight from Brussels). That’s the longest I can handle. So no more intercontinental travel for me. Luckily there is enough to see in Europe.

I’d love to travel and see the world. Visit the buddhist temples in Thailand, see the cherry trees in Japan, relax on the beach in Hawaii, see the cave paintings of Southern France, or go to Swizerland and see the CERN.

There’s so much to experience!

I watch a travel channel called Voyage, its almost like travelling in HD. I went with family to Italy in 2016, Roma, Trevi fountain and Venice, it was nice. I also went to Cuba, Varadero and drove a motorized boat. Alcohol, juice, coconut and food were unlimited and included in the ticket price.

Besides going to my ancestors country (Netherlands) and to Mecca, I don’t have any desire to travel. I’m happy at home in my city and suburb and house

I would have enjoyed my two years in Germany in the army if I hadn’t been busy trying to drink all the beer in Germany. I did travel and see a few things, though. I did the standard London, Paris, and Rome tour, and I saw some other places. I found that it was good to get off the beaten track a little, because when you come on something great off the beaten track you get a feeling of discovery. I’ll never forget the sense of letdown I felt when I saw Versaille, and the sense of discovery I got when I stumbled upon the Residenz in Wurzburg, Germany.

Not all that interested in out of country travel. Would like to travel around the USA and see all of the Civil War battlefields and monuments. Of course now our country wants to rewrite history because everyone needs to be appeased so there may no longer be much to see.

A way to enjoy traveling is to have a hobby that can be done in different parts of the world, especially one that benefits from meeting new people.

I think the idea of travelling the world is romantic, but there’s just no feasible way I could do it. I’m afraid to fly, and I enjoy my little bubble nowadays. But I’m jealous of those that can and do travel. I wish I had the fortitude to do so.

I don’t care if I never travel. I expect I won’t be able to afford to do it. If I do travel I’d like to go somewhere with ancient ruins.
