I’m 59 years old, and I’ve never been married. I’m afraid it is too late for me to get married, because I’ve gotten to where I prefer to be alone.

Not really. I was never in a position to get married. Alcoholism and schizophrenia kept me from it.

I didn’t want to get married when I was younger, so I broke things off with 2 perfectly acceptable women. almost 10 years later I’m now alone and desperate, marriage doesn’t sound that bad to me anymore.

I would have to be blown away by how awesome the person is and how awesome the relationship is. Anyway, I haven’t even gotten used to starting conversations with strangers so maybe I can get a girlfriend. I don’t have a job yet either.
