Only when we are ready.
I agree. We can go extinct painlessly by simply not having any children.
You need a third option for, “Only the people I don’t like.”
Maybe you’ve heard of David Benatar, a philosopher arguing for precisely that.
No, but I’ve heard of a primitive society that is doing just that.
Which society? Sounds interesting.
My clinician told me about them yesterday. I’ve asked her for the name of the book about it. She hasn’t answered me yet. I’ll let you know., @NotSeksoEmpirico
I want to live as long as possible and I want humankind to continue as long as possible as well.
We could always rest for a billion years and return fresh, new and improved. Scientists have apparently proved it’s happened in the past.
I don’t think we should, but I know we could.
No I think we shouldn’t. Unless we do.
@NotSeksoEmpirico, the book is called Mutant Message Down Under by Marlo Morgan.
Many thanks…
Actually humans and animals instinctively breed.
No, i think we should stabilize and recover. Like stop pollution, educating and feeding everybody.
Me too but I don’t want to die young and cause anyone heartache. I wonder if I can make it till 100 years old. I don’t know.
I want us to go extinct that way we can all be ghosts and live peacefully in the afterlife
If we go extinct I hope it’s a meteor hitting the earth rather than something slow like an ice age or famine or bad gas station food.
I’m a big fan of Darwinism. Remove all stupid safety warning labels and stop holding people’s hands when they should be thinking for themselves. No more of that “do not put your baby in the microwave” bullshite.
Eventually the stupid people will die out.
