It’s a nice view to the nature.
In my opinion we as humans did TOO MANY shi**y things to nature.

Yes it would maybe be better to live in nature again. With some advancement in tech but a focus on Paleo lifestyle

Where it’s feasible, sure. We can’t do it on a broad scale without removing a significant portion of humanity.

Or we need more worlds?
I’m just thinking maybe it won’t happen for a while

Population could decrease over time like it is in Japan :japan:

Other, less educated countries are making up the difference.

Edit: This thread inspired me to change up my diet. I realized I haven’t been making enough ice cream lately and now have some maple walnut going in the churn.

Nope. We’re already damaging planet earth beyond repair. No reason to allow that damage to spill over elsewhere.

Is it inherently colonial to take a planet that has no life on it yet but could harbor it?

Interesting position…reminds me of a character of Kim Stanley Robinson’s

She sees the terraforming of Mars to be an affront to ethics, because mars has an identity prior to our interaction with it.

More than you know. Now I have an Italian Soda as well.
