Pretty much exact same experience with this illness. She sat in bed and smoked all day - I vape all day. She had a phobia of washing - so do I. She phoned family all the time (I don’t do this now but used to).
Or is this all just shared symptoms of sz in general?
I think I heard certain behaviours can be passed down but I don’t think it has anything to do with sz or mental illness. My family says that I act a lot like my Mom even though she was hardly ever around. To give you a frame of reference, I’ve spent probably 1000x more time speaking with you guys then I ever have with her.
But yeah I hear about things like that a lot where the child acts like the parent even though they were never together and neither one has a mental illness.
Sounds like shared symptoms rather than anything else.
You have similar genetics, could be something to it.
They say the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. My dad has ocd and I might have it. I’m a lot like my dad.
The apple sometimes falls VERY VERY FAR from the tree.
