I don’t think so, so far none of the mental illnessess are cured besides temporal psychosis and mania and they can even relapse. Considering that scientists don’t even know what causes depression, bipolar or sz or sza. I think we are really far being cured.
Any “cure” will probably be a drug that silences the voices for 75% of the patients and has terrible side effects in the long term.
I’ve been waiting too long I don’t feel optimistic now ten years ago I thought in ten years they would have much better new medication but that hasn’t happened
A cure would be nice, but I don’t know if it’ll be in my lifetime
What I do believe is possible, is less stigma surrounding our illnesses. A greater understanding and acceptance for us to be more open.
