its good to see things from anothers perspective. i don’t get to see a pdoc every three months or more,… so i can only rely on what others say how i come across.

You could be experiencing some hypomanic/mixed episodes.
It could be the shorter, darker days triggering it.

I recently went back up on my mood stabilizer.

But online you don’t come across as over the top.

You seem ok to me, @anon80629714. How are you sleeping? Are people telling you that you are irritable or argumentative or angry or yelling a lot? Are you spending a lot of money? Are you getting traffic citations? Are you sleeping around? Are you getting less than 4.5 hours of sleep a night and still feel energized? These would all be indicators of mania. If you don’t have many of these indicators, I wouldn’t worry.

did you have seasonable episodes too @Wave?

however she suggested it was mixed? depression and mania…so a bit confused…

Yes, I am affected by the shorter darker days.
I become more depressed and mixed on the low side during the Autumn and Winter months.

Ok, so your pdoc determined that you have some of these manic indicators along with some depressive symptoms. So, you are in a mixed state.

I am sooo very blessed, I know. Seasons do not affect me. I am in a great mood no matter the seasons or weather.

And I attribute it all to great pdoc’s and great meds and a great G-d.

I think I haven’t been taking my meds as regular either :flushed: it could be I missed a lot more than I thought.

Take your meds regularly.
But you don’t need me to remind you.

Full blown mania is a dangerous state to be in. Your life can fall apart. You might need to visit the ER. That can be tough. Put faith in the care team. Put faith in doctors. Reach out to the community. Reach out to loved ones, too.

You haven’t got to be an island.

Avoid triggers and be safe.

Take the meds and lead a healthy lifestyle. Freedom and health starts in your mind.

Mind and body together. Emotion is the root.

It is like climate. At times the sun is oppressive and glaring. At other times you’re doing alright.

Don’t do too much when the sun is glaring. You will overheat. You will feel bad. You will become feverish. You will make mistakes.

At the time you might feel like a total winner. “Charlie Sheen style”.

In the end you will be damaging yourself…pushing others away. Sabotaging yourself.

Don’t let it take over.

Remember…

…You can do it…

…You can make it…

…Keep fighting…

…Keep smiling…

…Be yourself…

…Love yourself…

…No one else can be you…

…No one can stop you…

…You are worthy of love…

…You deserve success…

…You deserve friendship…

…You deserve liberty…

…Nothing can hurt you…

…You’re gonna be okay…

…You’re golden…

Hi @anon80629714! You don’t seem manic to me.

You have my permission.
