Do you still remember the listserver times of the 1990s

The Internet was quite different then.

I got the internet in 1995.

I spent a large portion of my time on IRC and ICQ chatting with people, and playing “command and conquer” with friends.

Made a pen pal in Australia. I lost contact with her but still have the letters.

My first internet experience was in secondary school, around 1996. Went to university in 1998 and hotmail, msn messenger and napster was the big things.

My dad worked for a research facility in the 80s so they had internet before the public did. The computers were very rudimentary compared to now

They had to go up a radio tower to install something for it to work, i forget what it was.

I used BITNET in 1989 when I was in Michigan, but I got my first commercial account with Delphi in 1993. In the 1990s I got many messages from different lists on different listservers and of course there was USENET.
