I was so nervous about taking my car for new tires, oil change and a general check-up that I decided it felt like taking my mother to a doctor. I love my car and am also very dependent on it, like of my mother.

When I understand that he was lost, I don’t hate my father. But crawling into a car and cruising around gives people comfort like as if a baby resting in his mother’s womb. Thus the analogy.

Yeah, it used to come on TV right after Mr.Ed and Dobie GIllis.

It would be ironic if your father was a mechanic for a living.
