I really enjoy playing the drums. It helps me, but I am too depressed to play the drums.

I play guitar bass and mandolin. There are a bunch of musicians and artists here.
For me playing my instruments is therapeutic. I also paint a bit witch has been rather cathartic since my symptoms started with visual disturbances, I suddenly have something to paint. But rarely a day goes by that I don’t play at least a little.

I play the violin but I’m not very good at it…I have no “ear” and can’t play it unless somebody else tunes it for me. But I can read music and play what I read.

I play guitar and recently started playing the mandolin. I read music for guitar and play intermediate classical guitar pieces.

I bought a really nice bouzouki recently and can’t find any books that teach you how to play it, so it’s my innovative musical instrument. I do have a book of chords for it. It is tuned slightly different than a mandolin and is like a guitar size mandolin.

I play guitar first, in the morning, 25 minutes and later in the day the mandolin. I like mandolin best

I am working on learning the banjo. I play the didgeridoo and Native American flute and dabble with the,bass guitar and harmonicas.

I know how to play a couple of classical pieces on my digital piano. But cant read music yet. I learned how to play them by copying youtube tutorials. Painstaking learning that way. But music is worth anything in my opinion.

I tried to learn keyboard around age 21, but i found it difficult to learn sheet music. It’s something ive considered time and time again to try again

I play guitar, bass, and effects. I count effects as an instrument because they can so radically alter the sound going into them that an entirely new sound is created. I’ve been playing since I was 11, and I’m 58 now, so I’ve been playing for a while. :guitar:

I play a little drums. I was in percussion in band through junior high. Sold all my stuff though. I live in an apartment and couldn’t play. It feels good to play though

None. I am not very musical. I did play the piano as a kid. I’d love to learn how to sing, for it gives me joy, but I suck at it.
