I like it overall. There are sad memories attached to it for me, but there are happy ones, too. I like shopping for gifts and making desserts for Christmas dinner. Love the decorations, too.

I would love to escape somewhere away from xmas. As i can’t, I better love it and bring it on, instead of being miserable in these festiveseason.

I love it and had been so excited for it, but now I can’t seem to get the energy up to decorate or wrap presents. I really need help because I want it all up, but everyone is too busy.

I’m not a Christian but I was raised one so it’s in my blood. I love it from a distance. I left to become a Bahai.

I hate it, but am making an effort to enjoy what I can about it for the sake of those around me. This will be the first one in 20 years not spent with in-laws (thanks to my work hours and the distance lived from parents now), which helps.

I’ve been really depressed for the last several years since my mother passed away right before Christmas but this year I’m out of my depression and have a special celebration planned with my children and grandchildren coming from out of town to see me. It’s going to be a blessed Christmas and I’m so excited.

I’m somewhere in the middle. I love parts of it, but hate other parts.

Christmas is really a time for kids. I have some presents for my nieces and I hope they like them. But other than that bah humbug.

I like getting together with my family and spending Christmas day with the kiddos. I love watching the kids get their gifts. My son and I decided we are doing finger foods for Christmas this year.
What I absolutely hate is decorating. It is so stressful to me. My kids don’t care.
I’m in between the two options.

I like it. It’s nice to be with family members if I’m in the mood

Dont particulary hate Xmas. But i used to have FOMO when the twin was going out partying and i was skint and friendless. Now its just another day to me.

I firmly believe it just for little ones anyway - and not middle-aged mad old bstards like me to go out and get wasted. The only bonus is that the TV is more entertaining.

Im more bah-humbug when im in bed by 6pm and the bloody fireworks go off round here.

Why don’t people pick poles so you can see who voted? Baffles me

Christmas dinner, cheesy movies. Whats not to like?

When you grow up in grinding poverty in an abusive home, Christmas is the time of year that really rubs your nose in everything that is wrong with your childhood. And I do mean EVERYTHING. Makes for unpleasant memories and associations as an adult. Mrs. Squirrel lets me play with lights and tries to keep it low key and I try to snarl about Christmas as little as possible.

It’s been a lot worse in the past. Showing up at my parents house is always a mixed bag, a lot of negativity from my dad and ■■■■ that happened in the past. But my sister and her boys are there, as well as my mom, so there’s the positives.
Christmas is a high point to each year, despite whatever ■■■■■■■■ ends up coming out of it too.

x-mas, is it really all about buying things you can’t afford for the people you really don’t like all while putting up decorations to loudly announce that it’s all okay?
Bah!

Santa is only jolly because he knows where all the naughty boys and gorls live.

I really enjoy it but I also appreciate what a hard and stressful time it can be for people
