Do you live a 100% moral life?

I don’t. I’m amazingly lazy. I watch pornography. I never clean my room. I don’t recycle. Do I feel guilty? A little. I don’t know if I’ll ever change my ways.

Whose morals? 1515

I was watching an interesting video on this topic about an hour ago. I was going to write a big email, but I’ll just share the video:

I don’t think it is possible for anyone to be 100%. As AA says, we strive for progress rather than perfection. I try to be mindful that my daily remission from drinking is contingent on my living as honestly and as morally as I am able to.

I only feel guilty if I treat someone bad or hurt others.

I don’t think pornography, nor addiction is immoral, it’s a health condition. IMO.

I think that on some level morality is the same for everyone. Maybe not. Some cultures have a warrior morality, and some just want to be left in peace. The Vikings pillaged and murdered throughout Europe during the Middle Ages. But I do believe people have a few things they agree are moral.

None of those sound like immoral things.

As long as you aren’t actively harming others I don’t see struggles as something you’re doing wrong.

No one is 100% perfect on anything I believe. It’s all relative. We compare ourselves to others when we say we are moral or good at something. We can only be what we want to be. If we are content and happy with our lifestyle that is what is needed I guess.

To me cheating is immoral.

Some people think sex before marriage is immoral. I don’t believe that.

I think if I’m lazy, that is not immoral, but if I am not taking care of things and it affects my spouse, I feel guilty. But its not morality.

I don’t think it is immoral, but for me it was unhealthy. I valued the act over the person I was engaging in the act with. I decided to stop sleeping around when I sobered up and it is what helped me see women as people and equals, not conquests.

I probably live a pretty moral life, according to classical moral standards.

According to modern moral standards, however, I’m pretty lax. For a few examples: I’m lazy, I don’t recycle, I’m terrible at housework, I don’t turn off all extra lights, I like controlled indoor temperature environments (I dont like to freeze in winter or swelter in summer), I eat all meat.

I feel morally eating meat is bad personally and am vegetarian because I respect life and think I’m evolved and have empathy that I don’t want animals to suffer.

But I don’t think people who eat meat is immoral in any way.

My decision and morality about this is personal. I don’t think I’m morally superior because of my belief.

I had an imoral life, I must admit, but latelly I try to live it morally, to respect others and myself as well.

From my point of view to live moral implies to have respect.
If no one enters your room, your room shows the way you respect yourself, not your moral life. By the way my room is not organised by any means.
I do try to have respect towards others not that I succed every time.

If eating meat is immoral, every cat is a little devil because without meat they become malnourished and ill.

I do understand not wanting to eat animals yourself if you can avoid it and respect life though… still, in a perfect world I think we’d cook and eat animals who died naturally of old age.

I lied a lot. I have been separated from others for a couple of decades so I have had to be honest. To thine own self be true and then… You’ll be true to others. Is it too late for me?

I try to live a virtuous life, but I do fail daily.

It is never too late…

100% Moral life? Come on, nobody does.

May be 100% is impossible, with time persons understanding changes so does morals, example its illegal to drive vechile for kids but when they grow up its legal.
