I do. Very much. I find it relaxing.
Hmmmmm. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh. Sometimes.
Not so much - but i do LOVE my choral music - and different settings of Magnificat and the Nunc Dimmitus. I prefer the sopranos of boys choirs. And Eric Whitacre of course on Youtube.
I clicked the links and listened to some of them. I found these are religious music and some of them sang by the Christian monks. I can understand the feelings towards God, angels. Its OK to listen to this sort of music sometimes but basically I am a modern liberal who believes in enlightenment and humanity. So not a fan to this sort of old Christian worship music.
It’s also art, not just religion.
First time i heard gregorian chants is when i searched for a song from a scifi show Babylon5.
There was an explanation in comments that they are singing gregorian chants, so i searched for more.
And i liked it very much, always have goosebumps while listening to this kind of music.
Yes they are relaxing…
I want to watch Babylon5 now you mention that. @zeno you are like Italian philosopher.
I personally like them- very calming. And also…they’re great for work. I often sit down for long hours translating, and the chants help me to focus a lot!
