i used to like them. i thought i would like a house close to a nice college. but then something changed, i got older, and felt so out of place when i visited my niece on campus one time.
some people go off to college and never come back. i think because for a lot of young adults it’s their first taste of freedom away from home. but once you get past that aspect of it, there are other places i would rather live.
I only lasted a day in university housing, I paid a full month for nothing. I can’t live without my parents, I am still a baby at 30y.o. and will probably stay so.
I guess. There are positives and negatives. Probably benefits younger people.
I live in a college town. 50,000 uni students. 100,000 permanent inhabitants. It’s the place I grew up. I love it. It’s a historic town.
