Its a bit busy where i live. I think id prefer to live in the countryside at some point
I like where I live. It’s a small apartment building that’s backed up to some trees in a relatively quiet part of town. My neighbors are also pretty quiet aside from the baby that lives across the hall. But what can you do🤷🏽
I struggled coming back to hometown after leaving at 18.
But it’s been 3 years and I’ve adapted.
I voted yes, even though I would move if money wasn’t a problem.
Maybe a meh.
I live in a top floor flat I feel safe it’s a nice enough area with a short walk to the local town. It’s ten minutes walk to the beach so I can’t complain
I’m not sure yet. I moved from the city to someplace rural. I like the space and the nature but I miss the amenities, the diversity, the liberalness. There are a lot of right wing politics where I live. No offense to anyone’s beliefs, but it I find it’s not good for my depression.
Why don’t you like where you live @everhopeful?
In a way it’s similar to what you said. I used to live in a city and now live somewhere smaller. The city was full of people who had get up and go. Where I live now is so boring, it’s getting to me.
Same here it’s a retirement town been here a good twenty years was boring here in my 20s
My place is nice and the complex is well kept and my neighbors are cool. The only problem is I live on the busiest road in this complex. Also I live smack down in the hood, but it’s not bad. Just not as upscale as you could want. The complex I live is a big area of around 250 apartments in duplexes. It’s for old and disabled people which is nice compared to regular apartments. It’s preferable to a standard apartment complex in this area. I voted meh cause the location, but I like it here and can’t ask for much else.
I’m content…dull is good
It’s ok where I’m at just I hate winter and thats the only problem I love spring and summer
Dont know yet. Buying a place by the ocean.
Place is nice. But there is a trend kids below 15 years, like 13-14 years old are doing serious crime, exploiting that they are too young to be sent to prison. This is all over hereabouts though, unless you live in a non-urban place. In Sweden things are out of control. Unfortunately it’s picking up in Norway as well. Politicians are working on a solution about what to do with the bad kids.
I like Oakland better even with all the crime and homelessness. At least there’s culture, palm trees, and a general vibe that I connect with (love the Bay Area). However Virginia is decidedly less expensive and that is a huge draw. I just get tired of everything being in a dissiduous forest with carved out circles for neighborhoods or shopping centers. California had more streets and sidewalks.
I love my small town…it’s all here…never busy…except at five o’clock.
Only place I ever felt at home as such was out in the country in sa.
Where I live now most people are disrespectful and rude and look down at me and give off hostile vibes and exclude me.
The way majority of them treat me is disgusting.
My family treats me that way too.
Also i have no connection with the nature here.
The trees aren’t so nice looking to me except a couple private owned trees and my babies on balcony.
It’s nice otherwise I guess such as no physical violence as such and not much crime as such .
People are mostly stuck up n self righteous anc hateful or fake vibes.
Including my family as such.
If i could afford to move I definitely would move but i can’t afford to move.
I know my land lord and get cheaper rent.
I can’t afford to live with my boyfriend though I want to.
The people working at cafe are all rude to me and don’t want to serve me.
The pub n chicken shop n my Drs are nice .
It’s mainly a Christian cafe that hate on me and people walking the streets.
I’ve lived in worse. It’s a weird place because it looks and seems like it would be a bad neighborhood but it’s not too bad. My street has older apartment buildings, like from the 1940’s. The neighborhood is a little run down but aside from some noisy kids down the street, it’s pretty quiet and I haven’t seen any crime.
It’s probably a low income area but just at the end of the street is El Camino Real, a city street that runs from San Jose to San Francisco. It has every type of store and business on it you can imagine including high end stores along with the dollar stores. I have everything I need here within ten miles including different restaurants, dentists, grocery stores, the post office, close gas stations, parks, museums etc.
Well, I said no but I meant no to my particular neighborhood. The area a little ways out is good
I want to live somewhere warm, no snow.
