Happy turkey day!
I never found a good way to cook brussel sprouts because most of them turned out soggy or watery. So I never liked them growing up.
Do you like brussel sprouts?
I tend to lean more onto sweet potato casserole, but that’s my preference.

You can cut them in half and bake them.
Having lived in Brussels, I guess I’m supposed to say that I like them. The truth is that I like them every now and then, but can’t eat them more than a couple of times a year.

I love brussel sprouts!
I prefer them sprinkled with extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice.
I also may add some garlic powder to them.

I love brussel sprouts.
I cook them in bacon fat and butter.
Then add pecans, dried cranberries and blue cheese.
Obviously put the bacon back in there too.
Soooo good.

You just gotta experiment with it and see what you like.
It’s not bad cooking.

I might bake them sometime. I just need a good oven.

Roasting them with some olive oil, onion and seasonings is really good.
That’s a great idea.
Even just by themselves they’re good in the oven.
Just half them so they cook evenly.

In general, yes, but i overdid the frozen steamer ones this year, so now I’m off them for awhile.

Oh thank you so much for the tip! I’ll try that.

They tend to get soggy if overcooked. Sorry to hear that you overcooked it.

I’ve never had a brussel sprout but I’m willing to try.

I love them. I cut them in half, put butter on them and salt and pepper. Then I roast them in the oven on a flat cookie sheet pan. They’re delicious!!!

I’ve seasoned them and baked them in the oven. They were good.

Brussel sprouts with bacon and chestnuts - yummy.
This is what we do. Olive oil, onion, finely chopped garlic, salt, and peper. Add a kiss of fresh lemon juice when serving.
