I started developing my own board game in 1999 when I lived in America. During many years it has had many changes and currently it is a 3-person board game in which three Generals try to win the game. In my game Generals may have alliances. The board layout is a triangle.
I liked to play different board games such as chess, chinese chess, Go and Shogi in the past. These games require a lot of focus and concentration and so I have not played these board games in many years.
Board games are a blast. I rarely lose in games of skill. With the exception being chess. I haven’t played enough chess to be good. My favorite is Risk.
I haven’t played board games in a while but i used to love them. I liked word games like Scrabble and trivia games also. Your game sounds really cool. It’s pretty badass that you invented your own game, i think!
Yes. But many popular board games are absolutely rubbish and rely entirely on chance to win. Monopoly is the best example where the player has incredibly limited ways to interact with the game. I like board games that challenge you to use strategy or persuasion etc.
I have three board games right now: Clue, Festivus Game and Crypto Cash.
I enjoy Clue which uses a lot of deduction. I have a new small version that I bought at a five below store.
The Festivus game is kind of cute but not really strategic.
I haven’t been able to figure out the crypto cash game which supposedly simulates cryptocurrency. The instructions are really confusing and the print is tiny plus the spinner doesn’t seem to work well. I got it as a gift from someone who couldn’t figure it out either lol.
One time a long time ago I was playing Monopoly with my nephew and I owned all the property on the board except Broadway and Park Place. My nephew rolled about nine times and brought in a nine to one chance, and he busted me. That could not have been sheer luck. Someone up there was trying to tell me something.
