I dont have any but am considering getting a tattoo in the future.
Maybe if I get a steady bf and marry it could be nice to do a binding one together or me separately in honour of him n us.
Then I may like to do another one also of some motive I digg.
I used to have piercing.
My nose, my genitalia, my tounge, my belly button.
Cant remember if my nipple was pierced.Dont think so.
I was told that piercing can cause lots of damage to the body by the mum that i grew up with.
Not her business though but nice to care if one is concerned of such.
They are trained and there are heaps of dangerous things in the world as such.
Tattos can look awesome on men and woman in my opinion.
I may not be overly jolly bout it if a man im with had tattoos of girlfriends, wifes etc
I’ve had a few piercings, in my time. I currently just have a Monroe, septum, and a few earrings. I have always wanted my tongue pierced, but I’m too afraid.
My knees, feet, and left pinkie finget tattoos are getting removed, probably next week and then redone pproperly, because I did them myself and did an awful job, and I’m embarrassed about them.
I got the koi fish traveling upstream on my chest when i was 16, it represents the hardships i was gonna face after being kicked out of my house. The 3 skulls represent the deaths of 3 very important people in my life, while the lotus represents the birth of my cousin. Death and life go hand in hand. What about yours?
Very nice.
Okay, well this is going to be a long explanation… haha.
All my finger tattoos have different and personal meanings, except for my middle finger smiley and frowney faces. I did those just for fun when I was 18. I won’t go into detail about them, and spare you the long, boring read.
The cross on my wrist was my first, tattoo. It just keeps my mind on God.
My wrist verse has helped me through some tough times.
Psalm 34:17-22
" The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
20 He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned."
My arm quote is from my favourite novel, Frankenstein by Mary Shelly. It’s part of the monster’s last words before he goes off to die. It’s my reminder that everything is temporary, even pain.
All my stitches are just part of my Frankenstein fascination, which I have had from a young age. I believe it comes from feeling like a monster/outcast all of my life.
They remind me to embrace who I am and not feel ashamed for being weird or different.
Dude that’s dope, those psalms are really comforting, and I’m not even religious. Always dug the proverbs though. Those tats on your fingers came out pretty rad, I did my ankle tats, and I’m surprised how long they lasted.
Frankenstein is definitely the man. I’ll have to read the novel soon, still working on this one about a Mongolian trapper named Dersu. It’s pretty good.
I’m glad you accept yourself. I find that the more I accept myself, the more I love myself. And love is the ticket to freedom…
I’m glad you approve.
And your novel sounds interesting. I’m currently between the original Sherlock Holmes stories from the 1800s-1900s, and and a historical novel on the english language. (Nerd alert! )
And I can’t really say I have accepted myself. It’s still a daily struggle, but I’m making progress.
