I have major depression. I have had it since I was 15 years old.

Yes and no. I don’t exactly feel depressed, but I get suicidal without my ADs.

Yes I have had it for a very long time. At first antidepressants worked for me, but after the onset of the schizophrenia, I became depressed again and nothing works anymore

Yes I suffer with bipolar depression
My current diagnosis is schizoaffective mixed type.
SZA mixed type is basically a combination of schizophrenia and bipolar.
I haven’t felt any deep lows since being placed on the right dose of Lamictal

I get suicidal often, but i think its improving. Secure housing has helped. The time i spend with family helps too. Distracted from unpleasantness most of the time.

Yes. Diagnosed major depressive at 23. Walked away from meds and psydoc smoking weed but he thought I was borderline sz anyways… 6 years later weed wasn’t working and psychotic. It’s very common for sz as well so it’s a big percentage with sz diagnosis also have the depression.

I get cycles of it. Currently in one. But maybe ill pop up a bit in a few days. Usually i get it for about 5 days to a week. Then i pop up to either mild depression or hypomania.

That’s what I must have. I’m depressed all the time and have had no hope of getting better.
I have depression with my sz that why I have schizoeffective.
I don’t know but I think I do.
Recently someone I know was diagnosed and started taking AD. When I spoke with them I realized I have been feeling like them atleast since I had first episode.
Some things like fatigue and feeling of helplessness were there long before first episode.
I am SZA depressive type.
