Mine is sniffing my hair because it smells really nice & has a calming/comforting effect.
I like to pluck my nose hairs!
I do that. It’s really not painful unless you grab a whole bunch of nose hairs.
I have a few.
I rub my nose, too often. It’s a nervous habit.
I have to stop and stretch my feet out, a lot.
I also tend to start saying something, then decide it’s stupid and just stop talking, mid sentence. Drives people crazy, apparently.
Oh, and I bring sauerkraut hot sauce, and coconut milk with me, when I travel, and people think that’s weird.
Why, I do. But none I want the interwebs to know
I make a circle movement with my thumb and index.
When I’m at my job and I’m concentrated on my work, I don’t hear people around me. They have to say my name 2-3 times before I realize they want to talk to me.
I make the metal / rock on hand gesture at odd intervals maybe about 3 times a day. I’ve no idea why.
I pick at the skin behind my ears, which I’ve been told is gross, but I can’t stop doing it. I also sometimes flap my hands, make random loud noises, and jerk my head. I may or may not have Tourette’s.
When I turn off water taps I tap the tap with my hand either 3 times 6 times or 12 times depends which one felt right. To check that it’s off.
I never wear matching socks. I just have a drawer full of socks that are not paired
I crack/pop a lot of my joints, including my jaw, frequently. I think it bothers some people. The connection between that and arthritis is just an old wives’ tale.
I talk to myself (or people in my head) an awful lot when I’m alone, but that may not be the kind of thing you’re talking about here.
