I surrendered mine 10/20/2020 because I wanted to get a non-expiring State ID card. I was worried that with my arthritis I wouldn’t be able to make it in to Motor Vehicles again to renew it. I wanted the non-expiring one for people over 60, but they gave me one that expires. I then got a passport which is good until 2030.
