I’ve recently started and feeling better already, a gift from love indeed.
How many minutes a day do you practice and why?

I used to with my aunt. I am thinking of trying it again.
I started about 3 days ago…about 30 minutes a day…i like it. Sometimes i can get deeply relaxed by it
I ruminate a lot and overthink a lot. But to counter that meditation has been something on my to-do-list for long time. I am trying to learn about it though. Soon will put it into practice.
I guess u could say i meditate when i do sports or games. Something that puts me in the flow state of mind.
I don’t mediate, ever. I learned years ago that it makes my positive symptoms so soooo, much worse.
I sometimes meditate when I’m anxious to relax. From a couple of minutes to half an hour.
I used to meditate because it was part of working the program for AA. I didn’t really like it, I had to force myself to do it and I found it yields pretty much the same effects as getting a massage in the sense that it feels good for about 5 minutes after you do it and then the effects go away.
Please avoid the religious stuff.
OK, but technically, it’s spirituality. Can I edit that sentence out?
Yes you can. There is a story there. I edited it out for you. Thank you for understanding.
I dont meditate the way i used to because it doesnt have the same affect. In fact, it makes positives worse for me.
Does it make it worse while ur meditating or just later overall?
Both, during anxiety it calms me but during positive symptoms it makes it worse. More palpable.
I Like Meditation But Meditation Makes Me Anxious,Aggresive,Irritatted,PanickedThats Why I Avoid Meditation … Take Care …
During meditation i have more voices
because I have no distractions
That’s my problem as well. I’m better to go outside so I can watch and listen to birds. They fill the space the voices would like to.
@Niraj, hello.
I don’t like meditating either it doesn’t work with a shortened attention span
Having said that, I find drawing and painting to be my style of meditation that I can indeed go with.
I try to have meditation at the ready if I become mentally unstable. I will practice then for 15-30min, I think it helps win control back.
I used to meditate with this one app. It played soft chimes and had a soft gong for beginning, middle, and end of time.
