There’s a gym 5 minutes fro my house, but I haven’t been up to going there frequently. I have some kind of problem with my brain and body everyday, and though going to the gym will definitely make my health and well-being, I just can’t bring myself to go there. Have you had the same experience? I plan to go to the gym maybe two or three times a week, and it’s really cheap because it’s run by the town.
I go to the Wellness Center October through May with my mental health team group and walk the track for about an hour every Monday. The other months we walk outside usually by the lake or go mall walking if it’s raining or too hot.
I’m going for 2 months only because I have a break from working. If I was working, I couldn’t bring myself to the gym either
I never can get to the gym as much as I plan to either. I need to go more. I feel bad about myself for not going more often.
I’m trying to stay positive about this so i have been 3 times this month but it was mostly to relax in the swimming baths & sauna, i’m hoping to keep going, i even bought a really good pair of goggles
I can’t go to the gym either but for a different reason. I’d feel mechanical working out on a machine. I take walks instead. It really really really helps.
I went two times a week for about a year. I felt loads loads better but I didn’t lose any weight. If it was only 5 mins away I would still go but it takes me about an hour to travel there and back (total) and I just CBA with that most days.
I hope you go - it takes age to build up stamina but you feel amazing pushing yourself.
I excersise at home. Got a mat and some dumbbells. It keeps me fit enough to feel ok at work.
