I’ve lost a lot of interest in things so I’m mostly content with what I have. The last thing I bought for myself was a new phone.

I’m content with less. I know that if I buy something new the joy of having it will fade then I will be right back where I started from.

Yeah, in recent years, I’m not big on getting birthday and Christmas gifts now that I’ve reached middle age. Although, this year it would be nice to get something practical. I’d really like an electric kettle.

I’m too in need for something new. Now that I’m no longer online shopping addicted I buy myself some books and one or two games per year. Because I’m not working I can’t afford the things I would be curious about, and I know the bad affects of a shopping addiction. So I keep it on the basics, food, tobacco and something to drink or hygiene stuff.
