Do u guys get disability money from ur government..we get zero

I make around 800 a month and I live in the us

I get $620 a month, but only because they are withholding money because they said I have ā€œincreased income.ā€ I need to go down to the Social Security office and set things straight. Then I should get around $800.

I just get Esa & housing benefit!

My esa is £250 every 2 weeks and housing benefit gets payed directly to my housing association.

Luckily, as I’d rather they get the money rather than accidently spend it. Universal credit will make things worse!

I would get more, but I got 0 points in my pip assessment! So I’m appealing!

I live comfortably, but cohabiting would effect my benefits! I’d like to share my life with someone special, but the benefits system isn’t designed for that.

If your partner earns more than Ā£16k then you can’t get most benefits and are dependent on them…

Aku u can work …that’s why u do not need any benefits…u work full time right…???

Yes @far_cry0 , I am working, but I am taking about government, here poor people provide rs 500 per month and rs 1 per kg rice/ wheat by the government, but for mental ill patients there is no hope. They get admitted in govt hospital in episode period mostly by the court order.

I make less than $800/month. I pay for my housing and bills. I have student loans. I also qualify for Vocational Rehabilitation to pay for school.

I get $967.00 a month of SSDI benefits(Social Security Disability Insurance). Yes, indeed, I feel very lucky to get this. I’ve had my family and a few therapists who think we should be getting a lot more per month but I have no complaints.

In France, if you have no car but you need to go to a hospital, the government pays for both your transportation and medical bills. Thus at the hospital counter, they only hand money out, not take money in.

Also, if you have just gone through chemotherapy due to having had cancer, a vacation is suggested to improve the rate of your recovery. The vacation is fully paid for by the government. Also, for the regular Joe Blow, typically 8 weeks is the norm for the average persons vacation time period. During this time period, your employer will still provide you with your regular weekly income.

When some of these french folk heard that people in other countries only have 2 weeks as the length of the vacation time period, they were totally shocked. At first, they did not believe it. The fact that all medical bills were not covered by these foreign governments, also shocked the heck out of them.

I personally am on ODSP ( Ontario Disability Support Program ). It provides me with $789.00 dollars a month, and I pay $140.00 for my monthly rent in a special housing.

In Ontario, $789.00 a month for one person, is actually one half of the poverty level. Thus those who live at the poverty level are doing twice as good as I am. This is why it is called the ā€œOntario Disability Support Programā€. The program ensures that you will remain disabled because you don’t stand a chance of getting anywhere on such a low income. Thus your disability is supported.

That’s way more than my son was getting here in the U.S.
