What does disability get you?

How much money do you get?

I only get 490 now a month after they take ~150 for insurance

Well, for one, it depends whether you are talking SSDI or SSI. YOu generally get more with SSDI, I think

Now with my pay cut i make a little over $20,000 a year.

Around 2K a month.

A large tax bill.

About £350 per month, have to work cos its not enough to live on.

I get $936 in SSDI and make about $700 at my job after taxes per month.

In Trinidad everyone on disability grant gets the same amount - TT $2000 (about US $300) per month. National insurance has something else.

My amounts have varied over the years. Currently I get 1600€ per month.

I’m not sure exactly how much I get, I get SSI and SSDI, about $800 total. Rent in my area is about $1000 a month for an efficiency apt. I get reduced rent. No help with food or electricity.

I took my ssdi when I was only 43. I make $1441. I wish I could have stayed in the workforce longer, but I just couldn’t do it anymore.

My SSDI is like $2800 a month. And 100% VA disability is about $3400 or so.
