pretty stupid you studied all that.
most are divorced, paying high dollar child support.

Actually, as per statistics I’ve read, in my country fewer people are getting married, and at a later age, but there are less divorces too. I see this fact as evidence that people start to see past infatuation or whatever their parents did, and only settle down if they find a suitable partner.
is this supposed to be a good thing? who’s holding off?
I guess it’s debatable, but imho people have more time to learn about the ways of the world and what they really want, before commiting.
That said, two friends of mine first hooked up at age 15, now 23 years later they are happily married with 3 kids.
Most of my friends are still single though. They never bothered playing the long game.
And me? I’ve let a few opportunities slip, before realizing I’m better off by myself.
But to each their own.
again, was that money?
Not sure I follow.
Some people marry into money or for the money.
Others focus on building a career or even escaping the 9 to 5 routine.
I don’t judge anyone. If I ever marry, though unlikely, money won’t have a say in the matter.
you’re blessed. except never had kids, which is a total loss on your part
it happens sometimes, true love, and monetary security. Not often enough though
Yes I’ve always had this paralyzing fear of failing as a parent. I watch my best friend raise his daughter, she’s 5 and a day today! Part of me is jealous, but I feel I was put on earth to do something else. Maybe to be a poet.
There once was a boy from Peru
Whose poems all stopped at line two.
But he didn’t care
For he was aware
That short verses can melt hearts too.
(I’m not from Peru)
