I think that the qutiapine as add on fixes my cognitive and negative symptoms better than the 1. Gen I take alone.
Am I wrong then correct me.
I’m in the midst of maybe quitting Seroquel if most of you state that more antipsychotics didn’t do anything to your negative and cognitives or even worsen them

Yes i think so. I felt better after adding abilify. I still only shower like every 10 days and stuff like that but mentally i feel more motivation for certain things that dont require a Lot of effort.

I am starting to feel better on two AP, cognitively at least, but I’m at super low doses right now and getting positives

You should work with your medical team in order to determine the best med combo for your illness.
Don’t base your decision on a poll here, because what works for me may not work for you and viceversa.
Why do you think there are so many different APs?
Everyone reacts differently to the same psych med.

I beginning to realize from what you all say that I could get more disabled cognitively and that I maybe would fare far worse without my Seroquel.

Seroquel is really helpful for me too, I wouldn’t risk it, talk to your dr

oh that Sound reasonable relevant. When I look 10 years back to my treatment I Think that I was far worst of in regards to the negative and cognitive symptoms.
Besides I want to say I love all you beautiful people here on this board.

I’ve spend the weekend consider and reconsider and consider if I not should follow the treatment team’s guidelines. So without any positive sign on my illness I decided to follow the doctors original instruction so took the 750 mg Seroquel I was put on.
I thought if I wasn’t following the doctors instructions my advices to other members here on this board would be of no values and useless.
When in psychosis my cognition is worse. That being said if I don’t have psychosis a lower dose or no meds my cognition is better.

I take 2 APs. I don’t have cognitive issues but still have negs and sleep a lot.
