Entirely from scratch would men you make the sauces too. But some people cook the dinner from scratch but not the sauces. Sometimes I buy sauces sometimes I make them, including making my own salad dressing.
thank you. I cook partially from scratch everyday. I take shortcuts on salsas, pasta sauces and cake mixes. Dont make my own pies. But I do make my own salad dressings so there’s that.

I’m debating on spaghetti and garlic toast or burgers and tater tots. Somewhat from scratch.
I will at some point make ribs and mashed potatoes. I’m really slacking on healthy meals.
Currently the cook and most stuff is from scratch. Dad isn’t such a fancy eater though so it’s pretty simple cooking and not much variety. Every now and then I cook something for myself!
No, that’s like the black diamond equivalent of cooking. I use storebought tortillas.
Sometimes I do. Tonight I made mushroom and lamb burgers with guacamole. For a side dish I sauteed rainbow chard with garlic in walnut oil. Luckily my husband likes this kind of food.
I love cooking but often don’t have time. Veggie soup last and I no idea what next
I absolutely love cooking things from scratch. You can pour your heart and soul into a dish, and when it comes out nice and other people are enjoying it, it makes you feel so good and accomplished. At the moment, i continue to bake cakes for people at work. Tomorrow, for example, i’m cooking a Coffee Cake!
I love to do that although no energy for that.
I do make a muesli from scratch though
Phil won’t eat my casseroles
he says I just throw everything in it
I still make them though, and can live on it
all week. Otherwise, he does the cooking
if we’re going to have dinner together.
Sometimes.
Today I had potato salad with sausage (I’m a wanna be vegan).
I boiled potato and added potato salad dressing mix in a jar and spring onion from the garden I fried and chives from the garden.
That was not really from scratch but it was still not entirely ready made.
We have so many tomatoes growing more than we can eat so I chopped some up and cooked with garlic, onion and that makes a “canned tomatoes”.i sometimes add chilli
from the garden and season and put in containers in the freezer.
My boyfriend said he will break up with me if I go vegan but it’s the person I want to be.so we might break up and I love him and since I met him I have been better n stopped isolating.
Anyway I sometimes make food from scratch but I’m on a gluten free lactose free diet at the moment.
Chicken with jalapeno cream sauce sounds killer. How do you make that @Persia?
My schizophrenia is so severe, I have someone cook for us. I love making things when I have the ability, though.
I like stir fry, a good bloody steak or fajitas. I am a really good cook when I’m functional.
Here you go @SkinnyMe. I found the recipe on Pinterest originally, but here is the direct link to the recipe. It’s one of my favorites!
“One Skillet Chicken with Fiesta Cream Sauce”

It does sound great.
One of the best salads I e ever had is a Mexican salad with jalapeño
dressing.
I bought it ready made at Woolworths.
I cook a lot of stir fry. It’s quick and easy. I cut up red onions, garlic, cabbage, carrots, broccoli, celery, bell pepper, pea pods, and then throw it all in a hot wok with some olive oil, and then throw in some shrimp, and add a small amount of soy sauce or something similar, and voila, we have a meal to eat in less than 15 minutes!
Today I made roast chicken leftovers made a cheese sauce and put with asparagus
Tonight salmon with broccoli and potatoes
Tomorrow duck with orange and veggie
I make soup all the time and make stew or quinoa veggie meals
