One time when I was much younger I cooked a whole batch of chocolate chip cookies from scratch. I can’t remember what I did with them, but knowing the sweet tooth that I have I probably ate seventeen of them and threw the rest away.
I cook from scratch once a week with my granddaughter’s help. It usually makes enough for 3-4 helpings. I put some in the freezer.

I cook most things from scratch. Cheaper and better. Currently doing butterfly porkchops for supper. Roasted red peppers stuffed with wild rice and roasted carrots to go with.

No mixes, or premise anything. You make it with all the single ingredients yourself. Did I explain that well enough @Leaf?

I used to make Chicken Corn Chowder around this time of year and Chicken and Dumplings.
But I used canned stuff for the chowder like cream of mushroom soup and canned corn.
I love cooking from scratch! I made shrimp curry last night and I’m making chicken with a jalapeño cream sauce tomorrow which is absolutely delicious!! I usually cook every other night.
