I have always wondered this, im sure they do but we just wont be able to know, unless the cat kept running into a wall.

They do get anxiety and OCD type illnesses.
Yes but what about schizophrenia?
There’s not an exact animal model of sz. Which makes studying it hard.
Although perhaps it’s possible, we don’t know what they experience.

What about little mice from laboratory? Are they sane or they have sz? Just wondering…
They can give them a model of sz by administering a drug when they are in the womb, in adult mice, or by genetically editing the mice. But it’s a guess as to how similar it is to human sz.
