Disorganized thinking and Word Salad

Awful with that right now. Not even sure what I meant to say here originally. So… anyone else dealing with strongly disorganized thoughts or has and what things have helped you during an episode?

You make sense now.

I’m alright as long as I parse things into readable sentences and short replies. But sometimes when I’m pushing myself beyond my mental stamina it turns to oatmeal. I think I’m mostly comprehensible most of the time.

My reasoning and short term memory are both very poor. For instance i was driving to my appointment and suddenly i saw a perfect sized parking spot for my gigantic car. I pulled in and sat there for awhile and finally realized I wasn’t even close to my dr office. I have no idea why that happened.

@SkinnyMe It’s easy online. Composing a post there is deletion and can read it several times. More than several if needed. Was starting to “come down” from that manifestation.

@Coldcomfort Everything I’ve read by you seems that intelligent, thoughtful, and well written in general.

@FatMama Oh, yeah, the distraction factor. Seeing or hearing the perfect fit for one thing and just going with it.

Yeah. I have disorganized thoughts. My thoughts are just all jumbled together but I can still talk normally. It doesn’t make sense.

This is my biggest problem. When I’m upset I no longer understand what I’m saying. Hang in there.
