Do you /have you ever got lots of thoughts racing through your mind that you weren’t even consciously thinking very quickly so quick it’s as if they are whispering it quick quick quick one after another or overlapping. Maybe this is wat racing thoughts is. Kind of. Idk
Then the other thing is I think something n I’m not allowed to stop thinking the rest of the thought. It HAS to be carried through. Like an OCD kind of way, it just feels unacceptable to not carry the thought through

I find this very distressing.
Does anybody know any ways to ease these situations.
Or is this quite common, disordered thinking. Did you get this?
This. But if it’s a bad thought I must make up for it with a good thought after. And also just in case they were psychic and overheard my negative thought. I need them to know that intrusive thought was not how I really think.
Sorry you’re going through this @anon90843118- mine used to be like that before I started meds, but now they mostly overlap and it can be confusing at times. Hope you feel better soon
Yes I don’t experience it atm but I did for a while in the past n I want to be prepared if it happens again how to ease the situation in particular wen I come off meds if I do in the future.
I hope those overlapping ones ease down for you.
For me it’s a fat bunch of negatives now.

Gotcha- glad you aren’t dealing with that anymore . There are times I also worry about what’ll happen if/when they come back. I’ve found that CBT really helps with a lot of what we go through on the daily, and the partial program I was at taught me some good coping skills like distraction and deep breathing techniques. Yea I think talk therapy is so so important too for the daily. Because of the stress factor.
