If there is so much emphasis on having pretty clothes, I feel like saying from being in them, “What about me?”. I’d rather think more about my body then the clothes that cover it.
I like pretty clothes, but they really aren’t practical for me. And I know you had lost a bunch of weight at one point, but I’m a big girl and not everything fits me good. I have certain things that are comfy that I like to wear and are passable. I have a cotton short-sleeve tunic top in a bunch of different colors and patterns as a base layer on the top that I wear 80% of the time. And I wear sweats, leggings or capris on the bottom depending on the temp and the days activity. When I was smaller, it was jeans, loved my jeans.
Yes, I used to be obese when I would not like a lot of physical attention. But, I think there was a time when I thought too much of clothes. I think a lot of teens go through this stage. Uniforms are nice since they knock out clothes competition.
