Didn't go to work for 2 weeks

Wtf am I doing?? Can’t get out of bed in the morning, then I just call in sick and tell the doctor I got negative symptoms :-1:. Every day I say I’m going to go, and in the morning I just turn off the alarm and go back to bed…

I even like my job, it’s just I can’t get out of bed and don’t want to come two hours late everyday…

Does your employer know you have a health issue? You don’t have to have specifically told them you have sz.

Yeah I told him, I had had psychosis not sz… They know I take meds for it… I’m not too worried next month my contract ends anyway

Same thing used to happen to me . Hours late every day

I’m not much of a morning person myself. My job usually starts at 11:00am so I don’t have a problem getting to work, I made sure to get a job that didn’t start at 8:00 or 9:00 in the monring. I also take sleeping pills and they knock me out so I wake up whenever they wear off.

With my current sleeping schedule, I would have a hard time keeping a job as well.

For me, some of the APs I tried made me sleep a long time. I would get up with my alarm, sit down to have coffee and end up falling asleep until the drug lifted a bit. It was pretty frustrating. It was like no matter what, I had to finish my sleep

It’s important to keep in mind antipsychotics are also called “major tranquilizers” so it’s no wonder some people get knocked out by them. I’m also on clonazepam which is a “minor tranquilizer” and I really feel the effect of that one, more so than my antipsychotic.
