My friends were bullied terribly in junior high although I was spared, I had to watch them suffer.
High school was miserable for me because my family was on the move and I ended up attending three different high schools with no friends. So I was very isolated.
I was also very bulimic throughout high school so, that was Hell too.
Iām sorry you had that experience @Jake. I left school when I was 14 due to my mental health, but did manage to finish some GCSEās at a special school a couple of years later. I did well, despite my problems. I wouldnāt be able to go through it again.
I hated high school. I was the target of a lot of jokes and bullying. Even the cool punk kids didnāt like me. Iāve never gone to any high school reunion. If I ever do it will be to hand out Christmas cards laced with cyanide.
Holy crap, high school. Was pretty much out of control, violence, abusive to teachers, lots of drugs, got put on Mellaril at 15 for being a psycho, ārecommendedā out of regular school for being āSMEDā, Socially Maladjusted and Emotionally Disturbed. My first label. Yay. Spent the rest 3 3/4 HS at an Alternative school, majored in gym and getting wasted. Got an āOfficialā diploma though, for what thatās worth. Nothing.
I was happy in the 11th & 12th grades, but felt very alone in the 10th. High school was much better than Junior high where the other kids tormented me.
I understand that well. It is my twentieth for 2022 and no way in hell am I going to visit all those dicks.
The people that I want to talk to are on my FB but otherwise I could care less about the others.
I find it funny when I run into old peers and they talk to you like they were your best friends. I will play along for a few minutes but my internal monologue is always repeating the big F-You!
