depression is a hard one to get rid of, though possible, hope things work out for you.

Good sleep may help a lot, positive and optimistic thinking may also help, a little bit of nicotine may also help and then there are meds, of course.
I get rid of it but it always comes back
Mine disappeared with the commencement of the right meds.
I am taking Viibryd and it’s working slowly. I have noticed the dark cloud start to lift. Still there on therapy days but we are talking about heavy stuff.
I am currently in the midst of a depression - I take Lamictal its a mood stabilzer/antidepressant I am in the process of raising it a bit- Ill see how it goes

I like the idea of this but the other half of the battle is getting the motivation to execute it
Medications can help you get over the depression to the point where you can start doing the cognitive behavioral work that also helps. The best outcomes for most mental illness is a combination of medication and therapy.
