Did you fail or succeed in college?

Anybody else that went to college with Sz/ sza and either failed or succeeded?

I got Sza my senior year and dropped out. I would feel embarrassed going back. I would think my math advisor thinks I’m stupid. I don’t think I could get a job anyways.

Were you studying in your hometown or far away, Insidemind?

I got this in a year of my degree and i had to drop out. I have terrible memories of that year.

Far away. Like an 8 hour drive.

I started hearing voices when I was 19 years old. I dropped out when I was diagnosed a couple of years later. Since getting diagnosed my life has gotten better because I’ve been taking my Meds everyday for years and God willing they will continue to work. Since getting diagnosed I went back to community college and got an associates degree, worked in my dads office for a couple of years, volunteered, and transferred to another easier four year university. I’m about to finish my junior year with high grades and will graduate with a bachelors degree in December 2019 with a degree in accounting. I even got a drivers license and have gotten membership in three honors societies! I still need the certificate for the third one cuz I missed the initiation ceremony for it but I paid for membership. I’ve even managed to start losing weight again even while taking the Meds. I ballooned our to 168 pounds but currently my lowest weight is 136 pounds as of yesterday. I switched from abilify to vraylar and now I have all this extra time everyday cuz for the past five years on abilify I was in bed on average about 12 hours a day but now I sleep a normal amount of time on vraylar. I’m not really ready to date yet but I’m starting to have hope that I’ll have a somewhat normal life if I keep taking the Meds.

I split this into a new thread since the other one had been dead for three years.

I did well in college, but that was before my psychotic break. Now I’m not as smart or capable.

I was not doing well in college. My grades were bad. But I successfully obtained the bachelor degree.

I succeeded and got my B.S.N. (bachelor’s of science in nursing), in four and a half years, but, it was extraordinarily difficult. I graduated with a 3.0 G.P.A. That was all during my untreated illness. I would never be able to do it today.

I dropped out after my junior year. I wouldn’t have qualified academically if I didn’t, so it was for the best. I just started isolating myself and didn’t go to class

I failed some classes but it was fine I just retook them. I ended up graduating with a decent gpa like 3.4 or something like that. Unfortunately a ton of my classes didn’t transfer to the school I’m getting my second degree at so I started there w a 3.0 but whatever. I’ve built it back up since then.

How long would it take for you to graduate Zeke? I mean, the course’s duration would be 4 years?

I graduated. It was hard but now my memory has degraded so much that I cannot proceed any further in academia.

I had to drop out during my last year but after three years I went back for a couple of courses which I’ve been successful in so far. I can only study and work remotely so I had to choose another field that offers a lot of remote work. I also have to volunteer to get a little experience for this type of work, which I am right now.

I am only able to do the minimum.
